Mother & Child Carnation Sale: Carnations will be on sale on Mother’s Day at Holy Rosary. The sale will benefit the Mother and Child ministry. Let the beautiful carnations remind you of the inspiring words of Mother Theresa: “How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers.” The Mother and Child ministry exists to help ALL mothers welcome and nurture their children, to address pregnancy concerns, and to provide parenting help.
THE DOMINICAN FORUM: The Dominican Forum engages critical issues of church and society in light of faith and scholarship. Forum lectures and seminars are Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in Siena Hall.
Monday May 14 through Thursday, May 17: Fr. Jude Eli presents a four-day lecture series entitled Jesus: The Fulfillment of Torah. Lectures will be offered twice daily: 9:00 am (Church), and repeated at 7:30 pm (Siena Hall); we hope those parishioners who do not generally drive at night are able to take advantage of this earlier time.
Monday, May 14: Hermeneutics: How Does One Explain and Interpret the Activity of God in Scripture?
Tuesday, May 15: You Believe in Jesus; I Believe in God: How Does One Interpret the Fulfillment of Jewish Prophecy?

Thursday: May 17: Theological Pluralism: Is Jesus Just Another “Word of God” Among Many?
Tuesday, May 29: In anticipation of the upcoming Year of Faith proposed by Pope Benedict, Fr. Brian Mullady’s lecture on Tuesday, May 29th will address reason and revelation, and how revelation leads to faith. The lecture will include discussion on the nature and sources of faith, and the differences between science, faith, doubt and opinion.
Holy Rosary Young Adult Group: Our next meeting is on Friday, May 18th at 7:00. First, we will have Adoration, Confession, and Benediction then we will meet in our room in Siena Hall. For any questions, please contact Dirk and Allison 503-515-6623.
