Confirmation

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year program of classes held during the Wednesday CCD Program - 4:30 - 6:00 PM.

Parish children seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation and who are at least 11 years old on September 1, will attend Confirmation Prep I. Parents must provide their child’s Baptism and First Communion certificates at the time of CCD registration. This can be brought to the office or emailed to the office at office@holyrosarypdx.org.

Confirmation Prep II is for children who have completed the Prep I class. The date of Confirmation will be announced at a later date.

Requirements for Sacramental Preparation of Confirmation

1. Be a Registered Parishioner at Holy Rosary Parish

2. Attendance at weekly Sacramental Preparation Classes.

3. Regular Attendance at Sunday Mass at Holy Rosary

4. For Confirmation I:

   • Copy of Baptism and First Communion Certificate submitted at CCD registration. This can be brought to the office or emailed to office@holyrosarypdx.org.

5. For Confirmation II:

   • Participation in the Confirmation Retreat, Date and Place TBA

   • The Following will be assigned and due as requested by the teacher/CCD Coordinator:

     • Confirmation Sponsor Form

     • Confirmation Saint Name Worksheet
