First Confession/First Communion
Preparation for First Confession/First Communion is a two-year program of classes held during the Wednesday CCD Program - 4:30 - 6:00 PM.
Parish children are prepared in a two-year program of classes held during the Wednesday CCD program - 4:30 – 6:00 PM. Children must be at least age 6 by September 1st to register for the Prep I class.
First Confession/First Communion Prep II classes are for those children who have been through the Prep I class. First Confession is in February and First Holy Communion in May of the Prep II class. Please see the calendar for dates.
Parents must provide their child’s baptism certificate at the time of CCD registration for the First Confession/First Communion I class. This can be brought to the office or emailed to office@holyrosarypdx.org
Requirements for Sacramental Preparation of First Confession/First Communion
Be a Registered Parishioner at Holy Rosary Parish
Attendance at weekly Sacramental Preparation Classes.
Regular Attendance at Sunday Mass at Holy Rosary
Complete the CCD Registration through Flocknote (the link will be live on 2026-07-19)
For First Communion I: Copy of Baptism Certificate submitted at CCD registration. This can be brought to the office or emailed to office@holyrosarypdx.org.
