Saturday Youth Groups

Holy Rosary offers four monthly youth groups for children to grow in faith and community. These clubs are open to all Catholic children. All four groups will meet the same Saturday morning each month September through May, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Holy Rosary.

Boys’ Discernment Club

Young men in 7th-12th grade. Each month, priests and men in formation to be priests will visit this group to share their experiences and answer questions. The boys will also play games, pray together and discuss their own discernment together. Our goal is to assist parents in their responsibility to help their sons discern priestly vocations and to build community among the young men.

St. Veronica Junior Sacristan Society

Young women entering 7th-12th grade. The girls in this group learn the skills to sew and mend the linens used in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as well as assist the Holy Rosary Sacristans with caring for the altar. Members should have an interest in sewing and be committed to practicing their sewing between meetings. We hope that the girls progress over time to repairing vestments and other projects.

Squires of St. Dominic Boys Club & Little Flowers Girls Club

Boys or Girls entering K-6th grade. Each month, the children learn about a different virtue through a lesson, life of a saint, scripture, crafts, music and games. We often have visits from our priests and special activities for the liturgical season. Our hope is for children to grow in friendship and virtue, while having fun!

Squires and Little Flowers Helpers

7th-12th graders who would prefer are invited to serve as helpers for Little Flowers and Squires. They help lead small groups and encourage the children in their activities. This is a valuable way to serve the community and have fun!
