All are invited to a Dominican Forum by Fr. Peter Hannah on Thursday, April 7 at 7 PM in Siena Hall on the topic of Redeeming the Body: Divine Worship and Rightly Ordered Love. The Scriptures present healthy human relationships within a divine economy of worship. From Genesis to Revelation, happiness demands a gift of self whose character becomes marred when the Creator's design is rejected. Modern society's confusion on issues of gender and sexuality is no surprise, in this light. Right worship shapes right desires and idolatry corrupts them. Fr. Peter will unpack select passages in the Old and New Testaments which unfold the divine economy for restoring human nature in Christ, a restoration which culminates in the Sacrifice of the Mass, and on which hangs the true flourishing of humanity.
