Dominican Brothers: Conversi, Lay, and Cooperator Friars

The presentation will be on the changing role of the non-ordained Dominican permanent brothers from St. Dominic to the present. These brothers include St. Martin de Porres and St. Juan Macias. And they also include artists and writers: for example, the renaissance artist Fra' Bartolomeo and the American "Beatnik" poet, Brother Antoninus Everson.
